Dumbest Blond “Mystic” Ever … that is me …

True story … I am like the Marilyn Monroe of mystics … you know that dumb blonde chick from the 1960’s … never a clever word to say …

You know I was told in the past to read about Catholic mystics (by the Church of course) … they never seemed to be like me … so I decide to pick up a book about Marilyn Monroe to see if I was like her … and yep I saw it… in Marilyn’s writings, I am like her … let me give you some of MM’s thinking … you would swear it is me saying it!!!!

"I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they're right, you believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together."
Marilyn Monroe

"Imperfection is beauty, madness is genius and it's better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring."
— Marilyn Monroe

"Beneath the makeup and behind the smile I am just a girl who wishes for the world."
Marilyn Monroe

"I've never fooled anyone. I've let people fool themselves. They didn't bother to find out who and what I was. Instead they would invent a character for me. I wouldn't argue with them. They were obviously loving somebody I wasn't."
Marilyn Monroe

"We should all start to live before we get too old. Fear is stupid. So are regrets."
Marilyn Monroe

"If I'd observed all the rules I'd never have got anywhere."
Marilyn Monroe

We are all of us stars, and we deserve to twinkle."
Marilyn Monroe

"I want to grow old without face-lifts. I want to have the courage to be loyal to the face I have made."
Marilyn Monroe

"Dogs never bite me. Just humans."
— Marilyn Monroe

"It's all make believe, isn't it?"
Marilyn Monroe

"You never know what life is like, until you have lived it."
Marilyn Monroe

"It’s better to be hated for what you are than to be loved for what you’re not"
Marilyn Monroe

"She was a girl who knew how to be happy even when she was sad. And that’s important—you know
Marilyn Monroe

WOW I am like a soul sister to the thinking of Marilyn Monroe … can you see it too …??? … MM and I just two dumb blondes …not a thought in our heads …

But I am going to apply one last quote from MM … because it makes me think of Jesus in the Tabernacle … of course it does!

It's often just enough to be with someone. I don't need to touch them. Not even talk. A feeling passes between you both. You're not alone."
Marilyn Monroe

OMG … Marilyn that is exactly how I feel when I sitting in front of the Tabernacle… I am never alone there … neither will you be  …
